Symphonic Collaboration – “Navy Metal Night”
One of the most remarkable chapters in Andrey’s career was his collaboration with the Marinemusikkorps Nordsee, the official orchestra of the German Navy. Together with U.D.O., he delivered a landmark performance that fused heavy metal and symphonic music in a powerful and cinematic production.
The collaboration resulted in the live album and DVD Navy Metal Night (AFM Records, 2015), recorded at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany. The show featured a 60-piece orchestra, full choir, and Udo Dirkschneider’s unmistakable voice – with Andrey’s guitar providing the vital link between classical grandeur and metal intensity.
Praised for its innovative concept and musicianship, the project stands as one of the defining milestones in U.D.O.’s career and a testament to Andrey’s artistic range.
